Multi-Factor Authentication
We take your online security seriously. Therefore we are introducing our new Multi-Factor Authentication for our online CU@Home and Bill Payer systems.
What Is It?
Multi-Factor Authentication is a new tool that provides extra protection for your online data and helps guard against fraudulent online activities like phishing scams (malicious requests for personal information) and identity theft.
Do I Have To Use It?
Yes, it is to your benefit to use Multi-Factor Authentication. However, there will be a Grace Period - a period of time during which you can log in as usual until you are ready to enroll.
How Does It Work?
In addition to your User ID and Password, the system will ask you to select three security questions and one image. The system will require the answers to the three security questions and the correct selection of the image before allowing you to complete the log in process.
How Does It Protect Me Against Phishing?
When you enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication, you must answer your three security questions and select your image each time you log on. This protects your accounts from fraudulent access and also reassures you that you have not accessed a spoof of our website.
Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union Scholarship
The credit union is proud to sponsor a program that will assist graduating
seniors with attending a higher institution of learning. Eleven $1000.00 scholarships
are awarded annually for a total of $11,000.00! (Funds will be paid directly to
the school for tuition, books, or room and board.)
Eligibility Requirements
1. You must be a member of Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union.
2. You must be a graduating high school senior at the time of
application.
3. You must have a cumulative 3.0* grade point average.
*If school uses different point system, have counselor convert
to 4.0 scale.
Selection Criteria
A random drawing from returned applications will be held to choose eleven
$1,000.00 winners. (One winner from each branch location and one winner from combined
volunteer locations.)
