Plan Ahead - Be Prepared

In the event of an emergency or evacuation, keep in mind the following tips when handling your personal finances and other valuable assets:

  • Take enough cash with you to cover your family's meals and accommodations for at least three days. You can always withdraw additional cash from your accounts using your ATM Visa debit card or by utilizing the Shared Branching network.
  • Bring your most valuable documents with you. This includes birth certificates, property titles, insurance documents and other items that might be difficult to replace.

What to do if the Credit Union is Shut Down

In the event of a disaster closing the credit union for a short or an extended period of time, you will still be able to access your account through our network of ATMs, through CU@Home – our online home banking service, through Direct Connect – our automated telephone teller system and through the Shared Branching network. This means that you will still be able to make deposits, withdraw cash or check your balances.
