Bayer Heritage FCU Breaks Ground on New Site
Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union welcomed its board members, staff, volunteers, representatives from Credit Union Resources, and others to their groundbreaking ceremony on April 21, 2017. The additional site in Baytown, Texas, will be a 5,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility.
Bayer Heritage FCU was established in 1957 and celebrates their 60th anniversary this year. They began as Mobay Employees Federal Credit Union for the Mobay Chemical Corporation in Proctor, W.V., and they opened the Baytown, Texas, branch in 1973. Bayer Heritage currently serves nearly 40,000 members and has an asset size of more than $450 million.
Branch Manager Neva White said, "We look forward to continuing the credit union philosophy of 'People Helping People' in Baytown and the surrounding area."

"Our Favorite Recipes - Cooking for a Cause Volume III", like our previous BHFCU cookbooks, was created with all proceeds benefiting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The cookbook is dedicated in loving memory of Kaye Forbes, former BHFCU Vice President of Operations and member of the Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors. Some of her favorite recipes have been included in our cookbook. They are available for $10.00 at all branch locations.
