BAYER HERITAGE FCU TO EXIT SHARED BRANCHING CO-OP IN JANUARY 2026

Starting January 5, 2026, Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union will no longer be participating in the Shared Branching Co-op. As technology in our industry grows more progressive, we like to ensure our products and services reflect the current needs of our members. With the advancements modern banking has made, including our Mobile App, Remote Deposit, and Online Banking, we feel that this program is no longer in line with our members’ lifestyles today.
While there may be a slight adjustment period, we are confident you will still be able to seamlessly accomplish your financial needs. We thank you for your continued membership with us and encourage you to call our Member Services Department at 800.272.6003 ext. 1477 where we will address any questions or concerns you may have.
Q. Why did Bayer Heritage FCU decide to leave Shared Branching?
A. Our decision to leave Shared Branching was based on providing a safe, secure, and modern banking experience to our members. We are concentrating our efforts on avenues and platforms our members are already using like our Mobile App, Online Banking, or our 24/7/363 Contact Center.
Q. So starting January 5, 2026, I won’t be able to visit other credit unions?
A. That’s correct. Beginning January 5, 2026, credit unions who remain in the Co-op will be unable to access any accounts with BHFCU or complete any transactions on our behalf.
Q. What if I’m not near any of your branches? What will I do?
A. We’re confident that you’ll be able to complete most of your everyday transactions using our Mobile Banking App or our Online Banking Platform. And for those moments you need cash, you’ll still be able to access our global ATM network.
Q. There’s a global ATM Network?
A. Yep! You can find Allpoint ATMs almost anywhere your travels take you, coast to coast and even overseas. Visit the ATM Locator on our website and mobile app. Allpoint has over 55,000 ATMs participating and couple that with our Checking+ Rewards Program complete with cashback and up to $15 in ATM refunds each month, there’s practically nowhere you can’t find your cash.
